Friends of Gentry Benefit Show

I teamed up with Keith Neltner to create this poster for the Friends of Gentry Aubrey Benefit show tomorrow night at the Southgate House. These will be for sale at the show with all the money going to the FOGA scholarship fund. A special thanks to Mike Amann for printing these and allowing me to pull a few myself. We did three on wood as well. I'll post those pics soon.

Day Trip to the Zoo

We took ole Henry on a little trip to the zoo a week or so ago. I think he was more interested in the leaves on the trees than the animals, but we had a great time. I always forget how nice the Cincinnati Zoo is. This year they've brought back the giraffes and you supposedly are able to feed them, although that wasn't the case for us. Oh well, maybe next time.

New Pornographers

Heres a new poster for the New Pornographers show at this years Saquatch Festival. Unfortunately won't be able to make out to the fest, but it sure looks like quite the lineup.

Sketch

While cleaning off some files on my computer I found this sketch I did for my bird in the post below. Its an example of where most of my illustrations begin. This sketch was about 3 inches tall and done with your regular old blue BiC pen. It was then scanned and redrawn in Illustrator.

What a Start

I hope everyones New Year is off to a great start. I can't believe we are already a month into 2008, but its shaping up to be a very exciting and very busy new year. Hard to tell by my lack of posts these last few months.

Many new projects are in the works including a bunch of new prints that I'll hopefully have completed soon, but my biggest, most exciting, beautiful and exhausting new project came to us on January 21st in the form of an 8lb 14oz baby boy. Sleep is now only dreamt about here at WarnickArt.com and when you're not sleeping, it makes the whole dreaming part a little more difficult.

Also be on the lookout for a little write up on me in the upcoming HOW magazine soon to be hitting your mailbox or a store near you. Very exciting! Be sure to pick one up next time you're out.

Bee Print

Things have been quite busy lately. Finally got a chance to get these pics posted. These were printed for our show at Feralmade show this past December. I have a few of these for sell in the store. Check 'em out!
